Welcome to “For The Love Of You Spa, Ely!” owned and operated by Glenda Roberts-Collins of 2 Pilgrims Way, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB6 3DL, United Kingdom. Insured by BABTAC - British Association of Beauty Therapy and cosmetology.

We are happy to have you as a guest in our exclusive, relaxing and rejuvenating spa. To enable us to give you the best experience, please take a moment of your time to read our terms and conditions below:

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

If you have any medical conditions please advise us at the time of booking so we can advise whether your preferred treatment is suitable for you.  

Please also be aware that we employ male and female therapists so if you have a preference for a treatment to be conducted by a certain gender therapist please let us know at the time of booking so we can accommodate your request.

Payments can be made with credit or debit cards and vouchers from For The Love Of You. Voucher numbers will need to be given when making a booking.

CONSULTATION AND YOUR TREATMENT

We request our guests arrive approximately 15 minutes before the first initial treatment begins, to facilitate consultation and filling in the relevant forms. Treatment will not be given until a full consultation has been undertaken.

We reserve the right to alter or cancel any treatment if we deem the treatment unsuitable for you based on medical or other information you supply to us during your consultation.

If during your treatment you are uncomfortable, or feel too hot or too cold please advise your therapist so he/she can adjust your position, their pressure or the room temperature to ensure you receive an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

There are certain contra-indications that can determine whether or not a treatment can be carried out.

During your consultation, you and your therapist will fill out and go through a consultation form to determine whether or not you need a doctor’s letter to give the go ahead to receive the treatment or whether it is appropriate for you to sign a disclaimer waiving your rights and confirming you wish to receive a treatment despite being advised that there is a potential contraindication. The consultation form will be discussed between guest and therapist in the strictest confidence before treatment is carried out or before using the facility. 

It is important that you inform us if you are pregnant, or if you have any allergies, are receiving any long-term medical treatment, are taking any medication, are undertaking any on-going or recent medical care, or of any other conditions or injuries you may be suffering.

All record cards and medical documents will be filed in a secure cabinet and kept in accordance with applicable data privacy laws.

AGE RESTRICTION

We can accommodate children aged 12-17 years old. They must be accompanied by an adult either a parent or guardian. AN AGREEMENT MUST BE SIGNED BY EITHER PARENT OR GUARDIAN IN PRESENCE OF THERAPIST ON THE DAY ACKNOWLEDGING THEIR PERMISSION TO ALLOW TREATMENT TO PROCEED.

We accept no responsibility for treatments carried out where we have been misled about a person's age.

LATE ARRIVAL

Your treatment time will be reduced if you arrive late.  Due to the busy nature of our spa facilities it is often not possible to extend treatment times to accommodate late arrival.

CANCELLATION

We would like to kindly remind our guests that, should you need to make a cancellation, please do so at least 2 days in advance of your date of visit for your treatment.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

Should an event beyond our control (such as adverse weather conditions, industrial disputes, riots, fire, flood etc) occur resulting in our being unable to provide you with your pre-booked treatment on the day required we will endeavour to contact you to let you know of the delay and will inform you of how we propose to rectify the delay.  If you have pre-paid for a treatment and cannot attend on our suggested alternative date(s) and time(s) we shall refund the pre-paid amount to you.

GRATUITIES

If you would like to provide a gratuity payment to our staff or therapists for the service you receive this can be done at your discretion and is not mandatory.

PARKING

Parking is available on the road in front of the spa and along the street. We ask our guests please to observe all driveway entrances and exits, please be considerate and do not block these. Please do not use the driveway on the right immediately before front of spa for parking.

PAYMENT& PRICE

FOR THE LOVE OF YOU accepts:

  • Cash

  • All major Credit cards

  • All debit cards

  • Cheque

If you are paying in full or part by voucher then the voucher must be presented for redemption at the time of your visit. 

VOUCHERS

Vouchers are available for purchase and shall be valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.  Please note that vouchers are non-refundable. 

AMENITIES

We provide free of charge:

  • Comfy robes and sarong wraps (for some treatments)

  • Cosy socks or slippers

  • Towels (for treatment requiring shower)

  • Hair and body shampoo and conditioner

  • Hairdryer

  • Tea/coffee/water

PACKAGES

Please note that packages and gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated).

ETIQUETTE

During your visit please ensure you observe the following:

  • Jewellery – jewellery may need to be removed for treatments, so you may prefer to leave jewellery at home. 

  • Make-up, contact lenses and glasses – we suggest make-up, contact lenses and glasses be removed for certain treatments, including facials.

  • Smoking – our facility has a no smoking policy.  

  • Mobile Phones – the facility is designed to be a relaxing experience so please respect our other guests and refrain from using your mobile phone during your visit. Please either ensure your phone is turned off or set to “silent” for the duration of your stay.

  • Photography – photography in the changing area or any of the shared areas of the facility is strictly prohibited to ensure the privacy of our other guests.

  • Talking – please be mindful of our other guests and keep talking at a minimum and in a quiet tone.

PRODUCTS

We have a selection of beauty products available for sale at our spa during your visit.  Orders may be placed by individual customers purchasing goods other than for resale.  If you would like to make a purchase during your visit you may do so making payment using any of the methods stated in these terms, including use of vouchers as full or part payment.

We hope you will be very pleased with the products but if, after purchasing, you change your mind we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund up to 28 days of the date of purchase provided you return the product undamaged and unused in its original packaging, together with your receipt/proof of purchase.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exchange or refund without a receipt or other proof of purchase.  If you used vouchers to purchase your product we will refund you in vouchers.

We will be pleased to provide you with either a replacement product or a refund, whichever you prefer.  If you request a replacement product and we do not have the exact product in stock a similar product will be offered to you, or you can elect to receive a full refund.

Title of the products will be transferred to you on purchase from our premises.  Following purchase by you, all risk of damage to or loss of the items bought by you will pass to you.   To the fullest extent possible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind whether express or implied, in relation to our goods. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or damaged products or your contract cancellation rights.

COMPLAINTS

We hope that you find your visit to us a very enjoyable and tranquil experience with no cause for complaint.  

If, however, during your treatment you have any concerns or feel unhappy or uncomfortable please do inform your therapist in the first instance so that he/she can work with you to alleviate any such concerns.

Please provide details of the date and time of your visit, the treatment you received, the therapist’s name (if known), your contact details and the nature of your complaint.  Glenda will then endeavour to resolve your issues as soon as possible.

GENERAL

You accept full liability for any damage or loss caused by you during your time at our facility.  We will not be liable for damage, injury or loss to any guest or any guest’s property and/or belongings arising out of your use of our facility or from any product you use unless such damage or loss is solely due to our negligence. 

We request that you do not attend our facility while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Please respect our staff and therapists and other guests.  Inappropriate or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in your treatment or use of the facilities being cancelled.  If you are requested to leave our premises for such behaviour we will require full payment for your treatment even if the treatment has not been completed.

These terms and conditions are subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
